Catch up

So....based on the date of my last post, you can see I'm not super good at the whole consistency thing. I think mainly, because all I want to do when I come home is either sleep, eat or both but be in bed. Thinking and typing is not high on the list. Here's a quick recap of the last few weeks: Had an ultrasound. Saw the heartbeat which was breathtaking - both Jerry and I shed a few tears upon realizing our little stinker was alive and kicking. Told our parents - they were super excited. Morning sickness kicks in - no barfing (yet) but definitely not feeling so hot. Told our friends - also very excited. Had our first official appointment and got another ultrasound. Can I say armbuds???? :) More morning sickness, actually, mostly night sickness at this point, combined with lack of sleep and growing belly! Bought my first pair of maternity pants - now have two. Bebe is growing! Our next appointment is June 19th although we'll likely have a nuchal translucancy screen (bloodwork and ultrasound to check for chromosomal abnormalities) between now and then. I just need to schedule it.
